Hayley studied in Leicester to gain her law degree and completed Law Society Finals at the College of Law in Chester.

She completed her training articles in Carlisle and Penrith qualifying as a solicitor in May 1996.

Hayley originally specialised in Crime and Matrimonial cases, as well as some private client cases, working in the Penrith and Kendal areas before taking a break from her legal career in 2002 to begin a family, residing in Australia.

Upon returning to her legal career at the end of 2016, Hayley chose to specialise in Private Client law, gaining varied experience working in firms in Lancashire and Cumbria firms returning to Milne Moser Solicitors to head up the Private Client department in September 2024.

Hayley specialises in administering estates, wills, Court of Protection applications and Lasting Powers of Attorney.
