Hayley is from Ingleton and qualified as a solicitor in 1996, having obtained a degree in Law with Marketing and Accounting and subsequently completing the Law Society Finals at the College of Law in Chester. Hayley completed her training in Carlisle and worked in Penrith and Kendal after qualifying.

Hayley took a legal career break from 2002 during which time she welcomed her three children and enjoyed living in Australia.

Hayley relocated back to her family home in Ingleton and returned to her career in law in 2017, specialising in private client work in the South Lakes and Lancaster areas. Hayley joined Milne Moser’s private client department in August 2022.

Hayley continues to expand her knowledge and expertise and completed the Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners Certificate in Trusts and Estates with Distinction in 2021. Hayley specialises in wills, estate administration including taxable and non-taxable estates ensuring relevant reliefs are claimed, inheritance tax planning and Lasting Powers of Attorney.

Hayley is committed to providing advice and assistance to those in the local community, particularly those who may be vulnerable or elderly, in a sensitive, understanding and effective manner.  Hayley is happy to arrange meetings in the client’s home where this assists.

Outside of the office Hayley enjoys family time with her three children, walking in the Lake District with her dog, paddle-boarding and renovating the family home and garden.
