Celebrating International Women’s Day 2025
At Milne Moser, we’re proud to celebrate International Women’s Day by reflecting on the incredible women who have paved the way and continue to inspire us, while also recognising the invaluable contributions of the men who stand shoulder to shoulder with us.
As a law firm and estate agency in the beautiful Lake District, owned and led by two women—Justine Allen and Rebecca Ladell—we take pride in the strong, supportive, and diverse team we’ve built.
While our leadership is female-driven, we are also fortunate to have a fantastic group of men who play vital roles in our success. Their partnership, dedication, and respect for equality help us create a collaborative, empowering work environment where everyone, regardless of gender, is valued and celebrated.
We also honour the legacy of Madge Easton Anderson, the first woman in the UK to become a solicitor, whose trailblazing achievements have inspired countless women to follow in her footsteps. Her courage in breaking down barriers continues to fuel our passion for excellence in law and property services.
Today, on International Women’s Day, we want to celebrate not just the women in our firm, but also the men who champion gender equality, challenge stereotypes, and support the growth and success of women every day.
Whether through leadership, collaboration, or mentorship, they are integral to the success of our firm and community.
To strong women, supportive men, and a brighter future for all.
International Women’s Day, celebrated annually on March 8th, honours the achievements of women across all aspects of life – social, economic, cultural, and political – while also advocating for gender equality.
It is a specific day dedicated to the advancement of women worldwide.
International Women’s Day provides an important platform to engage with communities, reflect on progress, and commit to positive action.
International Women’s Day has a long and powerful history of collective action, with many groups, countries, and bodies having actively contributed to its evolution.
